Sideboard Story

The piece was a personal project and served as an experiment using Blender's several most recently added features such as the Denoiser, Filmic Color Management and the Principled Shader. The goal of the artwork was to convey a calming and relaxing atmosphere as well as to evoke a feeling of warmth and comfort - I wanted to create a soothing mood while adding a hint of nostalgia. Any feedback would be much appreciated.
