SketchUp's Real-Time Rendering Moment: Lumion View, AI Render, and the End of the Export Workflow

SketchUp 2025–2026 has added native PBR materials, AI image generation, and real-time rendering plugins like Lumion View, letting archviz artists produce photorealistic images without leaving the viewport. This collapses the traditional design-to-render pipeline.

Shelter 2 Residence

Conceived as one of a collection of bespoke residences to be developed on prime lots scattered across different South Florida cities, the Shelter Two residence employs our signature “fin” system to provide the architectural expression for the home. These fins are designed as vertical solar-shading elements while also affording more privacy for the interior. Construction is scheduled to begin during the early Autumn of 2015.
