Morning Glory from a Shanghai Window

Being photography fanatics, we wanted to capture the creative style and commercial realities of professional photographers, but in an interior setting. To create this visual, we concentrated on the selection of the lens with the use of f-stop, which have similar characteristics of an actual DSLR Camera. For the modeling aspects, the building is long, linear and is fully enclosed. Since the main light source is coming only from the opening of the window, we have opted to use a 20 mm lens with an f-stop of f/8. This will allow for the interior to be lit just right dramatically without too much exposure. To finish it off, we have used Rienhard as colour mapping to give a photo-realistic effect.

Software: 3D Max / VRay, Adobe Photoshop
