SketchUp's Real-Time Rendering Moment: Lumion View, AI Render, and the End of the Export Workflow

SketchUp 2025–2026 has added native PBR materials, AI image generation, and real-time rendering plugins like Lumion View, letting archviz artists produce photorealistic images without leaving the viewport. This collapses the traditional design-to-render pipeline.

Here is the Luxury Bedroom project that I have finished, key feature is been achieved as follows. • GOLD material • carpet Material • real marble flooring • window glass light pass through simulation • crystal material for ceiling lamp • plants (various) • Sunlight simulation (Morning – 9:30, GMT- Abudhabi) • Depth of Field snap Total Polygon Count – 125 million Modling and lighting - 10days Render Time – 125 hrs Ram – 16gb

Software: 3ds max, Vray, Maya, Photoshop
