BoxCutter, along with HardOps is a tool that speeds up hard surface modeling in Blender. It allows you to make boolean operations in a fast and easy way letting you to achieve even the most sophisticated shapes in a matter of minutes instead of hours / days. You can cut your meshes with boxes, chamfered boxes, polygonal shapes. Boxcutter fully integrates with HardOps - another Blender addon that makes complicated boolean and hard-surface modeling operations fast and easy.  Both plugins are available on Gumroad.
