The Serene Monolith

V-Ray for Blender 7.4 gains ARM64 support, ocean textures, and faster light workflows

Chaos released V-Ray for Blender 7.4 with Windows ARM64 compatibility, Phoenix Ocean textures for exterior scenes, Quick Sun Caustics for realistic lighting, and tools to organize large asset libraries and migrate from Blender's native renderer.

The Serene Monolith

This project explores the delicate balance between architectural rigidity and organic softness. Designed as an urban retreat, the space centers around a 'monolithic' kitchen island and a neutral palette that allows the interplay of light and texture to take center stage. The goal was to create a sense of 'Sukoon' (tranquility) amidst a bustling cityscape, using raw materials like stone and wood to ground the elevated interior.

Software: 3ds Max | Corona Renderer | Adobe Photoshop (Post-production)
