Woodnest Retreat

When I imagined Woodnest Retreat, I saw a quiet escape nestled within nature — a place where architecture disappears into the landscape rather than competing with it. The iconic A-frame form was chosen not only for its simplicity but also for its ability to frame views, collect light, and evoke a sense of shelter. Natural materials, especially wood, were used to blend the building with its surroundings, while large openings invite nature to become part of the interior life. This is not just a cabin — it’s a place to slow down, reconnect, and breathe with the forest.
