When I imagined Woodnest Retreat, I saw a quiet escape nestled within nature — a place where architecture disappears into the landscape rather than competing with it. The iconic A-frame form was chosen not only for its simplicity but also for its ability to frame views, collect light, and evoke a sense of shelter. Natural materials, especially wood, were used to blend the building with its surroundings, while large openings invite nature to become part of the interior life.
