Nasser Khosrow 19 project is a residential building in Mashhad city, Iran, which is being implemented in 6 floors and 7 roofs. This unit has 300 meters of substructure. In the design of the plan, considering the substructure area and the location of the project, an effort was made to ensure that all spaces have appropriate dimensions and separation. One of the challenges we faced in this project was the concrete structure of the project, and due to this issue, the structural sections, including the project columns, had larger dimensions than the metal structures, and this issue played a significant role in the design of this project. The larger dimensions of the columns and their placement have created problems such as creating an inappropriate visual view and inconsistency in form. In designing this project, taking into account the above-mentioned issues, we have tried to produce various forms with a specific design language to achieve appropriate visual coherence (the columns are highlighted in red in the attached images). The use of soft and curved volumes helped us in instill a sense of flexibility and dynamism, as well as balance, softness and tranquility in this space. The interior design and architectural simulation of the project were also designed according to the aforementioned conditions and are currently being implemented.
