ESCAPE TO BOSFOR

The purpose of creating this work was to show part of the story of my life in an image in an accessible form. The process of creation was also a reflection on one's life and a rethinking of old meanings. Work suffered through doubts, program crashes and a difficult life stage that I have gone through and continue to go through lately. Moving to another country, war at home, terrible disaster in a new home, loneliness, adaptation, and socialization in a new society, separation from family and friends, parting with a partner, financial difficulties. As a result of falling into darkness, I pushed off from the bottom and the result was a change in outlook towards the light. As a great lover of visual art and cinematography, each frame is directed and has its own idea, collecting its history of the shown space in the project. All this is collected in a general narrative about my life. On nuances and elements, color and lighting, each element is meaningful and each element complements each other. This project is the result of a lot of work, first of all, on myself, perhaps this is the most personal project for me in which I have invested more than myself. The result was a rethinking of the profession of an interior designer and visualizer, an idea based on sincerity and the desire not to create style, design or 3D elaboration, but to show feelings and thoughts. Unfortunately, most talented visualizers, 3D artists and designers, even experienced artists in their craft, try to focus on aesthetics, the relevance of style and design, turning into a total mass of copies of the same project. People try, try new and new features of the software, peeping at the references generate new ideas. But what if you turn the camera on yourself? What if you told at least part of your life, sincerely using those skills that you already know? We live in a time when fantasies can be generated by AI, but only you can write the story of your life. All I would like is that the creators tell about their stories in their creations, about their feelings, experiences, emotions, sensations, create their own voice through creativity. Our age of AI and software, where you can create images that are hard to distinguish from real photography, where all ideas can be generated by pressing one button, so is there any point in trying to do what a machine can do for you? Why make copies of copies? I sincerely believe that the storehouse of all the great ideas for creativity is already in us from birth, everything is already there and you just need to turn your attention inside yourself and your life. Transmission tools can be not only a computer, but also metaphors, allusions, meanings and your worldview, your personal opinion about life. Isn't it amazing when a visualizer and designer doesn't have their own vision, but only a set of industry standards? After all, the essence of the profession, in the very name, now the visualizer is more like a machine that generates new and new pictures on the instructions of the designer, and the designer is based on the ideas of other similar designers. All this is a crazy circle of the same thing, there is nothing in it except the desire to please everyone and be in the general flow of trends. There is no life in such works because the artist does not add part of his story, in our postmodern world, when everything is already created and there are no new ideas, it seems to me that the only way to create something unique is to be sincere with yourself, not to create an image and seem but to be yourself, including your positive and negative qualities. Because all the difficulties, the whole range of emotions and sensations makes you real, different from others. Our life is a treasure trove of stories that we keep in ourselves because we are afraid of the reaction of others and of being misunderstood. But I believe that any story has the right to be told, it may not be understood by everyone, but everyone has the right to vote. We are all unique individually, all the events in our life are unique because only they make sense, this is the most beautiful and this is what really exists, and not invented. It was important for me when creating a work to be based on myself first of all, because what we have gone through in this life, our feelings and meanings are the main idea in any art. Small elements that no one will probably see, but for me they are important, important for my story, easter eggs in the form of references to past projects, elements transferred from real life to the picture, all this is a way of conveying my story. Everyone will see his own and this is the most important thing. All that I want to wish to everyone who is in a difficult situation in life, who are tormented by doubts about their talent and other experiences, do not close yourself, use your skill to tell your story and maybe in the process you will understand yourself and this will help you survive everything and get better. Pain can become a huge energy for creativity and sometimes for great art. It can also help other people who see your work and find like-minded people. The rethinking of my profession as a designer was the idea that a designer is not only able to make the customer's everyday life and housing better, but also to make it.
