The depth of Musmeci

This personal project was born from a dream I had a long time ago, when I was not yet an engineer but only a student who daydreamed. In my city dominates a bridge, that of Musmeci, from which I have always been strongly attracted for its shapes and its grandeur. I consider it inexplicably magical. I have never been able to understand how, without the help of computers, the architect Musmeci managed to design and create this work of art; How many studies he had done and how many books he had read. So, I thought of the depth that lies behind the aesthetics, functionality and geometry of the bridge, creating a scenario that represented it according to my imagination: an immense library whose access (and passage of the abyss) is guaranteed by the stability of the Musmeci bridge which with its elegance and refinement makes it fascinating. The atmosphere is warm, sublime and the sense of emptiness and fullness is perceived, while the statues, nature and giant tulips that shyly illuminate part of the environment upwards, surround the noisy silence.
