SketchUp's Real-Time Rendering Moment: Lumion View, AI Render, and the End of the Export Workflow

SketchUp 2025–2026 has added native PBR materials, AI image generation, and real-time rendering plugins like Lumion View, letting archviz artists produce photorealistic images without leaving the viewport. This collapses the traditional design-to-render pipeline.

A45 cabin by BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group) Architects

Designed by Architecture firm BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group) for prefab-housing startup Klein, A45 is a small black cabin with an angular roofline. It is the first in a series of tiny homes by the well-known architects that Klein plans to offer customers. The project was modelled in 3ds and exported to Ue4. Texturing was accomplished with megascans and substance painter. Foliage used was via speedtree. 200564 200570 200568 200567 200565 200566 200569 200571 200572 200573 https://vimeo.com/291064487
