TMRW.SE - Nobel Center

Alfred Nobel had a clear vision of the prize he created. He wished to reward contributions in physics, chemistry, medicine, literature, and peace. He wrote in his will that the prize would be awarded to those who “have conferred the greatest benefit to mankind.” 2014 David Chipperfield won the international design competition for the new Nobel Peace Center in Stockholm, Sweden. In competition with architecture firms such as SANAA, Snøhetta, BIG, and OMA. The proposed building has an elegant, timeless and attractive external appearance, which according to the jury can symbolize Nobel-related activities in a persuasive way. 195782
