The Secret Garden - Challenge 2016

Hello Everyone, This is my first time participating in this forum as well as in an Evermotion competition. It's been years since I follow and get inspired by this great company and also all artists involved in its network. Couple of weeks ago I started my participation in this great subject. It hasn't been easy to get time for posting all the progress I came along, however I finally reach a point where I can share almost everything. Getting straight to the point, let's begin!!! Concept Secret Garden means to me, a hidden or unexplored place for some, a remote place where only one/few have access to something unique and particular, where the unexpected and outstanding can happen. My concept is a spiritual contemporary cave in the hillside of Naoshima/Teshima Islands, a unique place that holds a surreal upside down garden that defies gravity. This Garden is based in uncommon species and some distinctive minerals/crystals like Topaz and obsidian volcanic glass stones This idea comes from two parts, first memories of my childhood, when my brother and I used to create our own world in my parents garden. Building caves with dining chairs and covering them with a carpet. Secondly couple months ago had the chance to travel to Japan, this experience got me deeply inspired by architecture, art projects and how Japanese lifestyle is link to nature and spirituality.
