The Secret Garden - Lucas Walicki - Challenge 2016

Hi, I've done my share of vegetation back in the day, thus I do not want to create anything ordinary for this contest, some greenery scene will simply not do, no matter how well it's done. It has to tell a story. I've had some crazy ideas about this, but after hours of hesitating I finally decided to do something real, but there's a touch of mystery to it. When I first thought of secret garden, and what it could mean to me, I somehow thought of secret laboratories and all the crazy things that could happen in there. This led me to the idea of creating a garden that belongs to some mage. And in there, there will be something magical, something he'd like to keep to himself. Something secret. And that something will be... Animate inanimate - or put simply - animated paper animals, or animated origami. These things are super cute and fun to create and watch. So, yeah, I will try to create some cool composition and tell a story. Speaking of composition - I usually create horizontal images but for this one I want it to be vertical. Don't ask why. I also want to put some kind of architecture in frame, and since I think that chinese style blends the best with the nature, this will be some small pavillon. Nothing overwhelming. Something where the mage could sit, cast his spells and watch his creation. I do not plan to include him in the image, there's no time for it. If I feel like it could help - I'll matte Gandalf or something :P There's not much time left, I will be posting daily progress report.
