SketchUp's Real-Time Rendering Moment: Lumion View, AI Render, and the End of the Export Workflow

SketchUp 2025–2026 has added native PBR materials, AI image generation, and real-time rendering plugins like Lumion View, letting archviz artists produce photorealistic images without leaving the viewport. This collapses the traditional design-to-render pipeline.

finally I added some spiderwebs: 174718 here a screenshot of the postproduction in PS I rendered out some passes to adjust refelection, lightning and made other subtile changes then added some waterdrops on the upper spiderweb ,some cloudshadows and a lensflare 174719 and here is the current state: 174720 I wish you all a happy new year , health and good luck! When I looked at the picture after a couple of days, I decided to make some changes in lighting /saturation on some items and add some depth of field ...so the following image is the Final Result: 175256 Software used: 3DS Max - Mentalray, ivygrower and forestpack lite Photoshop Credits: - house,terrace, landscape,swing and menhires created by myself - the human figure is also created by myself for a visualisation company I have been working for(photogrammetry) - trees and plants and other accessories partly from evermotion, cg-axis but also free models.
