SketchUp 2025–2026 has added native PBR materials, AI image generation, and real-time rendering plugins like Lumion View, letting archviz artists produce photorealistic images without leaving the viewport. This collapses the traditional design-to-render pipeline.

Here's my final image - The Photographer's Studio 155480 Since I'm posting all the work in one go I thought it best to post in reverse order as then the threads thumbnail is my final image. The brief asked for a space that I’d like to live in so I took three of my hobbies: photography, guitar playing and digital art for the theme. Photography provided the most diverse theme so this became the main element. I liked the idea of a photo studio setup and this provided a justification for some unusual light setups. The view tries to depict a loft space during the daytime - the room is decked out with large thick curtains to control light, something that is necessary for a photo studio, hence the darkness in the foreground. The loft is theoretically situated in the London Docklands area where there are large warehouses that are gradually being converted into residential developments and office space.
