Maria's Adventures

147068 147069 Hi folks! This is my new personal project! It is based in my new cousin (she is called Maria - obviously) which lives a little far - with my uncle and my aunt - from our family, and its rarely possible from us to be together often. So this illustration tell us just like she got a nice balloon and came to visit us. The scenario is my neighborhood actually (with minor artistic adjustments obviously). My plan is to print this and give it to my uncle at Christmas, which is slightly before Maria makes her first anniversary. Who knows him please do not tell, it’s a surprise actually. :P Everything was modelled in 3DS Max (except from the car which I did not feel like wasting too much time modelling it although I changed all the shaders and incremented some modelling), textures made in Photoshop, and rendered in V-Ray. I really got a nice workflow with vegetation, Max and instances so this scene got 1.003.105.010 poligons and did not reached 14GB while rendering. 45 hours rendering at 3840x4800 pixels. Hope you - and my family - like it guys! Thanks!
