Blå (Blue) Planet - 3XN

This is my recent personal project where I have studied the Danish architecture Blå Planet / Blue Planet by 3XN located in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is the largest aquarium in Europe. I have been fascinated of this building for a very long time, the design is really elegant with its shimmering aluminium facade which is re-mindful of fish scales. I didn’t have any blueprints for the fish scale so I tried several method to recreate those. I used different parametric methods but in the end I did it more or less manually. 3dsmax, vray, photoshop. http://s4.postimg.org/lfmcfi9ml/3_XN_Bl_Planet_Night_Edge.jpg http://s8.postimg.org/t7wpr6kf9/3_XN_Bl_Planet_Stairs.jpg http://s21.postimg.org/e9epm7xqf/3_XN_Bl_planet_Landscape.jpg http://s4.postimg.org/s1896r48t/3_XN_Bl_Planet_Leaving_Entrance.jpg http://s27.postimg.org/o5fhd81z7/3_XN_Bl_Planet_Main_BW.jpg http://s17.postimg.org/5gyj8pl1b/3_XN_Bl_Planet_Aquarium.jpg http://s10.postimg.org/qgdt2nell/3_XN_Bl_Planet_Restaurant.jpg 135572 135574 135569 135570 135571 135568 135573
