Hello, I would like to know, how is it possible to get shaduws in diffuse area My setup is like all the best render artists; LWF (prefs: GAMMA 2.2, and checked the two checkers, and 2.2 input, 1.0 output) COLORMAPPING LINEAR 1.0, 1.0, 2.2 VRAY DOME with HDRI, LWF IRRADIANCE MAP + LIGHTCACHE (checked all the tuts on Bekenman website and took the most used settings) I've attached an example of a photo, which is impossible to recreate (especially the diffuse area under the stairs) Sky portals don't seem to work, I stopped using them Can somebody tell me how to archive this, It's not that I cannot create realistic GI (see attached render of the hall) but still, I cannot reproduce the GI effect that many of the people like BB3VIZ etc do OH, and another question; does anyone else need to use the curves in the VRAY frame buffer, to get any interesting looking render ?
