Since its opening in 1956, Peking has preserved its iconic status as the hotel with the most luxurious interiors and the highest quality of service in the city. To continue its history of excellence, Peking will be reconstructed as a deluxe hotel to be run by an international hotel operator. The building is historically and architecturally significant as an outstanding example of Stalin’s Empire style. Its appearance will not undergo changes during the reconstruction.
