The Nature’s Confine was inspired by the Chinese Scholar’s Garden back in 206 AD. The scholars go to the garden to get away from the busy city and study philosophy in solitude. The Nature’s Confine adapted this concept to address the stressed lives of people in the city. Instead of moving far away to studying philosophy, the building will be located in the city and will be a place for relaxation and appreciation. This way, people who are too busy to leave the city can come here to relax and appreciate nature. The building consist of three main floors and a basement for storage and maintenance. Each main floor consist of an element that helps sooth and relax the human mind. Wood and concrete are the dominate materials that are used in every floor to have an organic atmosphere, since the concept is to live among nature. The atmosphere in every room is completely different from each other, leaving the people constantly intrigued about the space they are in.
