The Legend of Tent

Winning (!) competition entry for International Design Competition of Tent Hotel, in cooperation with Xuberance. Design solution for rapidly developing China, taking advantage of the most recent technologies in architecture. This concept of temporary housing using 3D printed tent structures aims to to minimize the impact on natural environment (energy consumption, pollution…). It can serve for both the recreation purposes and refugee camps in a case of sudden natural disaster. The goal was to propose the tent-themed hotel which can adapt to various climates, convenient to build up, promote sustainable development. A site like this can be populated with buildings within couple of days. We paid special attention to neat composition and details to get the most realistic visuals.
