Container City

Shipping containers have been placed on the top of other buildings in an attempt to climb above the ever rising level of the water. As water levels rise there is a scramble among those living below the poverty line to escape it. Shipping containers are easy to stack and provide shelter as a form of modular architecture. This is the story of a scavenger, out on her boat early in the morning. I was initially inspired by ready player one and 'the stacks' (trailer parks that have grown up vertically). I also love the concept art of Adrien Girod and was heavily inspired by his work.
