Waiting to heal

Waiting to heal: Our planet is being heavily damaged during the antropocene: Pollution, wars, and ecological collapse due to global warming can make it almost uninhabitable. A hundred years from now very little life remains in the surface except for some of the most resilient plants and a few humans. Now, wild fires threaten one of the last refuges of humankind and they will have to join the remaining people on one of the self - sustaining stations above the surface. We will be able to develop amazing technologies but they can´t help the healing on a planetary scale, only nature can do it. So humanity will wait for earth to heal and bring back life, balance and beauty. This image is also a small tribute to Syd Mead, his visions the future will always inspire us, not only with his visual language, but also with his optimism and clarity on his concepts. This image was made with 3dsmax 2020, V-Ray, Phoenix FD, Blackmagic Fusion and Photoshop. Background hdri is from 3d Collective, Plants are from Maxtree and some assets from Vitaly Bulgarov. Thank you and I hope you enjoy it!
