Avid releases Meet Media Composer | First

At the core, Media Composer | First provides the same editing tools your favorite filmmakers, editors, and directors rely on daily. there are some limitations though. You can add up to four video tracks and 8 audio tracks. You can use AVX and AAX plug-ins from the Avid Marketplace only.

You have access to tools that help you stabilize camera shake and enhance exposure, reframe shots and punch in new dialog where needed. You can do multicam editing, audio ducking, and you have the ability to reframe high-res sources. Media Composer | First lets you add visual effects and transitions, speed up or slow down video. You can make color corrections and use color templates. There is also a title tool.
