Personal CG project of the memorial to the murdered Jews of Europe at Berlin - the site is covered with 2,711 concrete slabs or "stelae", one for each page of the Talmud arranged in a grid pattern on a sloping field. According to project text, the stelae are designed to produce an uneasy, confusing atmosphere, and the whole sculpture aims to represent a supposedly ordered system that has lost touch with human reason.
Software used: 3ds Max (V-Ray, Forest Pro), Nuke, After Effects.

The treeline isn't all that accurate, while there is a park on the west side of the plaza, there is also a pretty major street before it. The images make the plaza seem far more intimate than it is. There's also people always climbing all over it like idiots; which kinda takes away from the message.

Hi Barrelly, thanks for your notice.
It might seems so intimate because of not wide FOV used in some cameras.
There are example photos in the attachment, the first was taken with a wide FOV.
Anyhow I must admit that you're right, it could be done much better, oh lazy me!
Climbing dudes were deleted to make more dramatic view.

I'm all for doing nice shots that hide the reality of the space. Perhaps its my personal distaste for Eisenman, but you're making it feel much nicer than it actually is. That's a good thing for you.
