    so here's my entry.

This is a quick mock up done with vray and max.

The concept is based on the fact that the worlds oceans may cause major flooding and people want to be able to adapt to this new environment. I see entire communities made up of floating homes that are situated on the water.

I'll be adding more detailed pics and concept for interior.

    cheers!

Sorry yep that's my first WIP sketch, not my final...its a quick concept of what i want the final will be much more detailed.

so I've started building the proper model here's a few WIP shots, I've decide to texture as i build each section, and start from the base.
so hopefully ill get it done on time!

I tend to test render frequently and do a quick HDRI lighting set up at the start so i can get a feel for what I want and accurately test the shaders.

I quite like playing with grading when i'm doing test renders, not time effective i know, but...Click image for larger version.

couldn't decide whether to make the windows curved or not, so tested both. i think the straight windows would be more practical and also easier to manufacture. Click image for larger version.

colour can be as important as form to reflect a mood, i dont just want to go the typical sci fi white but use materials that are available today that people will still enjoy in the future.Click image for larger version.
