Evermotion Challenge 2013 - Future Home Design

Hi, I'm in.
This is very exciting subject for a competition so good luck to everyone and let's get started.

My idea for this competiton is about the future in which the ice caps have melted, raising sea levels. People were forced to live in the water. Over time, they built a great cities on the sea.

Time for the first few screens.



I know it's a bit similar to the Japanese project to build great cities on the water in order to save Kiribati but I ran my idea before I heard about the Japanese project and does not treat it as a simple visualization of that project.

Recently I established the final shape of the main buildings.
Here's some screenshot of my tests on composition and overall scene's mood.




Now I'm working on the platforms supporting the main buildings.

I'm still working on the platforms and general environment.

Now I' going to work on materials and add more detail to the scene.
I hope I will be able to finish this on time.

Hi all.

I didn't have time to finish my project as I wanted to.
On the other side I spent a lot of time crating all the models and environment so I decided not to throw it away.

So here's my final entry.
