How to save a life

Hi guys, here's my concept sketch for Mechanical life.

"How to save a life" is a story about Dr. Smith and his friends Lovbo and Theodor. Dr. Smith is the one who discovered that there lives depends on the winder, and responsinble for assembling parts from new or old tin can toys like Miss Mila.

My concept is about vintage mechanical tin can toys.

here's an update ^_^ im using 3dsmax 2012 and zbrush for detailing and texturing.

here's a render update, some test without the main light, i really love the BLEND menu of NOX and its post.. really nice and easy to use. only the settings on how to reduce the noise of my scene. does anyone has some tips and tricks to achieve a clean render? ^_^
