Absolutely, absolutely AMAZING! I'm reading right now the making of and I had not realized that other vehicles are also 3D models. The buildings are very real, really, I just thought that the taxi was 3d model and was embedded in photos.
Very inspiring your work, I want to do something similar. You should do a tutorial for beginners. If you know mental ray would be excellent. Thank you.

    You're missing:
All the taxi information that's painted on the doors.
The medallion riveted to the hood.
The cage separating the front and back.
Stickers on side windows showing fares and the like.
Registration and inspection stickers on windshield.

It does not say taxi on the light, but the taxi medallion number, and Off Duty on either side.

They don't have the hood ornaments either.

You know, minor details, like what the cars actually look like.

[QUOTE=elfin3d;368955]Personal CG project of the New York taxi. Ive been always fascinated by NYC, and so, I decided to make a full CG animation shortfilm of it.
Software used: 3ds Max 2012, V-Ray, MultiScatter, GhostTrails, FumeFX, SketchUp, Nuke, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects.

You forgot to name AXYZ design anima software that has been used for the animated people.
You can find more information at: www.anima.com
