    Thank you for your crit.
Yes alfa channel is very problematic and I couldn't find a decent way to solve this with Vray 2.01.10
I tried almost all settings but there is something different in the DMC sample and the way it works.

    Thanks Jesus.
Well honestly speaking, dusk image is a fake dusk, created from the day image on the last minute. Just for fun
So it has many problems and I agree about all the comments.

Ps: The only thing i ve notice is the damn AA!! You use hdri for lighting right? I have the same problem when i use hdri, i cant reduse the AA from metals when are close to windows.
Hi friend, I hope you are doing fine. Yes AA was a big problem for me in this scene although there is no HDRI. But somehow DMC Sampler behaves different than it used to and I couldn't get rid of the AA problem- I made many renders but I always had those jaggy edges.

Great images- superb work on materials, light and mood. Is the dirt on the floor boards achieved in diffuse or reflect or both?
One thing I noticed right away, not that it's of any importance to the overall greatness of your images, is that those logs next to the fireplace look already burned .Maybe they should have their cross section lighter than the bark.
Great inspiration and a well set level of quality to aspire to.
    Kind regards
Thank you- I think the logs are quite wet hehe :P

Thank you, I was trying to give the sooting effect caused by fume. But I am getting so many crits about this point so it seems that I was a bit off.

I would definitely love to see a making of. I think i could learn a lot from you. If you consider it, please concentrate more on the texturing and the lighting process showing us how you achieve such materials.

The level of reflective variation in the scene is great too for a scene without HDRI. I am really impressed by this.

    Very inspirational stuff.
I look forward to a making of.

    Best luck in your endeavors.

Based on your last making of itīd be really awesome if you would take the time to make another one - I really learned a lot of your first one already !

The images are great, I didnīt really paid much attention to the outside at the beginning, I was just too fascinated of the way you created such a strong contrast in the scene (meaning the room in the back).
Having a look at your light setup would be great !

    Beautiful work Pixela.

I like the texturing of the wood. Specially on the door as well. Nice details. That sofa looks perfect for laze upon. Nicely modeled.

    Beautifully done.
