    Bronte

    Hi Everybody,
Once saw a photo of a house on the Internet.
Then made this scene as I remember the house.
Don't know where it is, who designed it or who lives inside.
Not even sure if I remember the details correctly.

    Done in 3dsMax 2011+ Vray 2.10.01 + Photoshop 5.5

Great work love the materials and the overall look. The fire could be better and it seems to be sun outside even though its night/dawn?

Nice materials, I liked that fire! but I think you could choose a better background image. There are little problems with your Alpha Channel.

love it ! i just honeslty find the same background lacking on the night shot and the fire should be producing more sharp shadows, anyway great work

    pixela,

Great images- superb work on materials, light and mood. Is the dirt on the floor boards achieved in diffuse or reflect or both?

One thing I noticed right away, not that it's of any importance to the overall greatness of your images, is that those logs next to the fireplace look already burned Maybe they should have their cross section lighter than the bark.

Great inspiration and a well set level of quality to aspire to.

    Kind regards

Fantastic work, love your materials. Truly an inspiring piece. Damn shame the flames do not give more light to the inside of the fireplace.
