    Tribeca Loft

A little something completed a few weeks ago to start the New Year.

This was heavily inspired from the work of Fearon Hay Architects as photographed by Richard Powers.

As usual, modeling and rendering done in 3ds Max and Vray. The flower models are by "Romlin" and "Tmin".

Hope you like these, feedback much welcome.

    Photo-realistic work.
DOF is handled pretty well, would like to know about post-production part.

Great work the only critique I have is that the vegetables look a bit plastic. The lighting and texturing is fantastic as always I wont say best of couse I said it already on every post u made in the last few months and I still dont understand why are u not getting it...

Thanks for the great feedback guys. Much appreciated.

Koolnits: The DOF was done in-camera. It looks much better that way and, if you're not doing an animation, the additional rendering time is bearable. Postproduction is relatively minor: a little bit of colour correction and some lens effects for glow, glare, CA, etc.

Jay3Design: Rendering time (the scene was about 10m polys) varied greatly from image to image but generally anything between 5 and 8 hours per frame at 3,000 pixels wide (on eight cores).

Hcpiter: Thanks for the kind words. I knew you would like the "white" mood of some of the images!
