Pretty nice, I like it the only thing I'd improve if I were you is the tree, the leaves look flat at the moment but great job overall, good luck.

Ok, if a pre-final critique is allowed, I think the cat needs some hair ;-)

Other than this disturbing little detail, this is probably the best entry I've seen so far. Good luck!

hehe, nice point about the cat.

I really like your work, and most of all the grass you have there, is a fabulous complement to the scene and very realistic. Tones and colors absolutely brilliant.

    Good luck

Thank you all for the critics, comments, and kind words !

About the grass: well nothing fancy here by the nowadays standards.
Its just a bunch off self modeled blades scattered around over modeled plane with displace and bump. The material have reflection and translucency so the light interacts with it in a natural way.

About the cat: Well its summer, he was hot... i used a scissor and a shaving machine. Now seriously, the model wasn't easy to import to max (DAZ/Poser model) and i though in use vrayfur but i felt the timming running away so i decided to skipp it. Maybe next time.

About the seating: Lignet Roset - Calin

I forgot to give the title to the images that corresponds to a feeling.
So it goes by this way:

    1 TIMELESS
    2 ACTION
    3 EXQUISITE

    Now some numbers:

Almost 15 000 books were scattered around.

If i record, there are almost 8 000 screws in the shelves.

In first image, there are almost 800 leaves falling.

Grass blades... too many to count.

The rendering times were between 20 and 7 hours.

The TIMELESS image took almost 20 hours to render.

The ram rendering usage was at 7,95 in TIMELESS.

    My workstation:

    Processor: Dual quadcore xeon 5502

    RAM: 8 GB

Estimated Working time 3 weeks (including self learning and studding)

    Well nothing more to say.

    Good luck to all.

    Peace

    Some more info:

The scenes light were vray sun + hdri map in environment slot

The night scene was hdri + 200 planes with a vray light material applied.

    About rendering settings:

I use linearwork flow so i can achieve proper light distribution.

Used adaptive QMC + Area anti aliasing filter

used Irradiance Map + Light Cache
