We experienced some problems with the login of newly registered members at www.aandres.com. Our webmaster will fix this on Monday. In the AANDRES members area you can find more technical information and pictures in high res.

    Andy Andresen about this competition

I would like to share some thoughts about interior design. The AANDRES modular furniture series Eileen & Frank seems to be very simple. Well it is - on the first look. If you look closer, a few things are different to all other series in the market.

First, it is a systems which allows large spans without additional support. Now back walls, no wires going across, no 45 supports. Only free and open spaces.

Second, it is simple but yet sophisticated. The visible outside lines are very thin, the walls are only 10 mm and the shelves are only 8 mm. However, the construction is bold and strong and does not wobble.

Third, the secret of the construction is within the system, its materials and its fixtures. Other systems show there basic construction principles outside (USM Haller, Artmodul), AANDRES keeps technology hidden.

The choice of materials and surfaces is more or less unlimited. Of course we offer a defined range of wood, glass and MDF colors. But for a small extra charge, you can get any wood or color you want.

Through ist unique technology, you can build AANDRES as high as 9 meters. Interesting solutions for large libraries, collections and formal rooms like hotel lobbies open up.

AANDRES never comes as a statement of having certain taste or supporting a certain design. It is simple, it is plain. Anything not necessary is left away, anything that could be hidden inside is hidden inside. It has no "whoww" factor. You buy it and it blends in with your room, your existing furniture, your space.

Although being there, it is NOT there.

    It's silent, timeless, sophisticated.

For this competition, use any room idea you have and blend in Eileen or Frank, mix them both and find out a new rhythm of using this furniture.

We are eager to see your very personal interpretation of our modular design principles.

Not on this files. Open the first link, enlarge one of the wood samples, open the pic in a new window to get a higher quality.

but the resolution is still not enough and the size can be seen that the file is compressed strongly ... in pdf version is better. I would like to at least 3000 to 2000 but again only because it means we will work with those that have)

    Thanks

I congratulate excellent racial pattern-designing and also very simple.
The file would propose he came into being with every dimensions, the tex - the wood, to it constriction it would save this a lot of time, looking through the side and the choice the concrete module, I can not also log in on side..

    "Suggested theme choices:

    * Render a library using the system but only wood surfaces
    * Render a kitchen using the system and integrate kitchen appliances
    * Render a media room/home theater using the system and stereo appliances
    * Render a hotel entrance hall using the system in any configuration
    * Render a free shop interior design using the system in any configuration

    * Free submitting"

Generally try to figure out everything single-handedly , then if the problem still unsolved go back to this thread and ask about sth.

Look at this , how simple your questions are and how thread become longer and longer.
    Good luck with your ideas

Yes you can, but the AANDRES system is luxury top high priced, so only a representative conference room or a CEO's office would make sense, we are not selling this system as normal office furniture
