Hello
here it is another update.
Still allot raw modeling going on and allot to fix too.
When modeling something like that, i go from autocad to max during the process to see how things are going on.
Cameras in autocad are a pain for me.
bye

The author describe this atrium as a "Impluvium of Light". Like the roman Pantheon from Adriano, nothing matters but the Light and the relationship of men and architecture.
He is very eloquent in is constructed and written works.
In my opinion the Architecture Visualization world is full of unnecessary objects... sometimes we even can't understand the... architecture itself.
Campo Baeza as written something like that about people who go in a "decoration rampage" in their houses transforming them in "biblo museums"
I recommend you to read his books "Light Is More" and "La Idea Construida"
Empty is a little insipid comment about this project.
I'll say its FULL of light and architecture.
If you are talking about the images that i posted about the visualization, well this is a very embryonary stage....
see you![]()

I like this kind of clean architecture, I think that specially in 3d the more details you have the more simple it is to give the idea of photorealism, after all modeling, from my point of view, is the more enjoiable part of the process. What renderer are you going to use? unbiased?
nice project, keep going
After the explanation brief ,I undrestood lots of part of it![]()
I will wait untill you make the last render .
good luck for that !!
Hello...
A couple more images...
Well I'm having allot of problems... i decided to model the ceiling, and with the 6 or 7 floors my Cad files were about 350 - almost 400 mb.
So i gonna use vrayproxies allot because i only have my laptop to work.

love the mood, simple lighting but it does feels like something oput of alberto campos baeza

Now im doing all the material work and the space ambiance.
I gonna try to empathize the architecture atmosphere and the relation between matter and light.
Down you can see the evolution of the stone facade material which consistes in marble with 2 cm.

Hello all.
First thank you all for the kind words.
Right now I'm struggling to render the images so i let you with some info about the work:
Every thing was done in my laptop:
Q6600 @ 2.4
4Gb Ram
Windows 7 64-bit
Software used
3ds Max
Vray
Photoshop
Some furniture was modeled by me, other is from evermotion. Because its only fillers and aren't crucial to the scene i choose to not spend allot of time in it. Capturing the ambiance was far more important.
Every textures maps are from Arroway but some was heavy edited, like for example the travertine maps.
Lightning was vray sun + vray sky in two images and Hdri (From Peter Guthrie) in a dome light in the other.
I used Vrayphysical cameras because its very easy to setup (just like photography).
All furniture, office celling and the stone facades were converted to proxies so I could be able to render it in my laptop.
When i have the images rendered i gonna edit the first post in this thread to update it with my final entry.
Good luck to everyone
