    Abstract

Hi all... I'm applying for this contest also!
sounds fun first of all, my idea is to create big abstract interior, I will post some referent pictures later on!

I will be using 3ds max for the whole scene, V-Ray for rendering, and photoshop and After Effects for post processing...
after some reference files, WIP's will come out

Good luck to everyone and happy renderings!

Hi all... so in the first post I have attached new WIP image...
I was playing with the light a bit, reduced big white plates on the celling, changed a bit the sun position...
the sculpture is just a test, I waned to see how something big will fit in the sceene... I'm already drawing another one... my idea is big abstract steel sculpture...

    So brainstorming continues...

comments and critics are more than welcome!

edit: since I removed this post image from the first post, I attached that older version here...

a new one is in first post again...

    will post it here allso...
so I removed the hanging plates, changed the sculpture (it has some flying objects, will fix that), now it's metal wire tree... will keep it so far... now I will play a bit with the lighting...

rendering lasted for 3 hours... really long because the whole light in interior is refractive light from the celling windows

    here is the render

    and a wireframe render

    Hi all

Here is something new from me,

I was working on a bit of everything, floor, walls...

still ALLOT of stuff to do here...

the new statue is what I personaly like the most, it's made of 2 simple splines...

the render times are large, about 4-5 hours for a 900pixel in height resolution.

anyway... I hope you like it so far, comments and critics are more than welcome

I attached some additional renders allso

here's another update, this time daylight scene...
I'm still experimenting on which light fits the best... so I tried the daylight scene now, and I like it allot!

in scene used is one vray dome light, with hdri exported from maxwell render

critics and comments are more than wellcome.

ps: I did not have time to wait for render to complete because I had some work to do, so don't mind un rendered part of the image

The daylighting is nice indeed. Although, since there seems to be some interesting play/design of artificial lights (referring to previous render), i think it'll also be nice if it were showcased as well imho.

    another update...

I will be sticking with the dusk sunset... it has really beautiful colors,
so, I putted a raw concrete wall on the right, changed the seating benches...

as things are going... a tons of updates will be coming,
as far as my progres goes, finaly I'm satisfied in some aspects now..

Comments and critics are more than welcome!
