Great work, maybe you should play with hut material a bit. Grass is verry good.

I had not noticed it was inspired by Alex. How inspirational. Its kinda a one liner though, considering the whole lone object in the woods is a dime a dozen at this point. the renders are alright.

In these Renderings the main focus is on the Vegetation not the Building..
So you have done a great work on trees, grass and flowers..
Excellent lighting too..Just the DOF is a little bit not perfect..
And i noticed some noise being added ( by photoshop i guess ) to all the pics..That's make it more real but please reduce it especially on the dark areas of the pictures..
    Thanks for posting nice renderings..

personally i think its really nice, and i don't think it is the same style as Alex Roman. Yes by all means the fact that it's a building in the woods is very much like the Forest Refuge series that AG did. But in terms of 'style', i'm pretty sure that means how something looks, right?

Well the renders conform to Alex Roman design, but the style is much more Viktor Fretyan (radicjoe) with the heavy colours done in post.

There is also nothing wrong with trying to recreate others work in order to hone your own skills. If you can replicate what one of the masters has done then it gives you the confidence that you can create work to that standard and then you can go on and develop your own style. Using existing work gives you something to work towards IMHO.

Anyway its very good, especially if we are commenting on materials, modeling, lighting and post work.
