I mean, this image has both illuminations with the same strengh together - sunlight and candle light - which is kind of strange. Upper right corner belongs to a dark room with candle light, and the left side of the room belongs to a room with natural light... Appart from this, perfect composition with both girls looking at each other, their feet touching, shoulders relaxed, and I loved that bottle and glass not aligned (they don't care anymore about champain!) Impressive! I hate lighting myself so I can't really say anything on that. I have been trying to get the full size view of this artwork for sometime and finally got it. It does remind me of the works done by the impressionists which presented in 1860 or for the art history guru's the 19th century. For those not familiar the impressionists included Monet.
I would have to say this artwork falls into the category of the impressionists and is well done.
