Dung beetle

Hi all,
this is my fry try. Done in the last moment i think. I had some problems with the displacment on the beetle, when I was applying it fry just didn't want to render. So the displacement is only on the ground, ball and tree. Maybe something wrong with my computer.

By the way I dedicate this work to my girlfriend, she loves beetles.



P.S. After I made the render I realized that the ball should be a fry material ball, but it's too late.

great lighting but beetle model looks undertextured imho. and ball could use some displacement. very nice use of sss on leaves

I was trying to play more with the beetle cause previous version was made very fast. Took your advices.

Lab2: I know he should be black but he'll stay brown!

Grass height is strange. Measured in microns I think Great light and generally very nice.
