hi there,

i found out about this contest just a few days ago and started to play with the demo right away.
fry appears to give really nice results.. so i'll try to join the fun, even tho i wont have much free time until deadline.

i have a quick question : i understand that units have sense but can you tell the reason for this particular constrain of "30x30x30 cm". just curious...

Distal - the reason is that some people could model a comlicated scena and other a small model like glass of water or something like this and win. So this is a rendering competiton and we do not want that people concenrtate to much on modeling.

NEW DEDLINE IS 15.10.2007 (next week) till 11.59pm ...hope we will see more entries.

I've got a suggestion. Since now we've got extra week and some of us finished their entries for original deadline and wanted to wait for results maybe we could allow 2 entries per person? we'll be bored sensless for the next 2 weeks and i know i've got nice idea for another entry
