The easy way to align a grid object to geometry that is hard to align to because it has been imported og something else:
an example:
when im going to align a grid-object i always draw a polyline where i want my gritplane to be aligned, then i use the spacingtool, i set the number to 1 element an select follow. That way it is always perfectly aligned.
thnaks if possible can u write a tutorial showing how to make my plane a lil with this height in the image u did. actually i'm designing a plna of city where i'll around it with the sea , so i want to increase the height of the plane a lil hig for leaving a space between sea and the road of the city, if you dont understand so please write me i;ll show u some of the image in order u get what i mean, i can also say it sorta of making my plane look like a box ,some one can say to use the box only but it not right because after using box i try to put grass but it appear insede instead of being on it to please help me
