    [3d scene]- building

    Hi to all friends.

    I tryed to make a good picture without any GI reder.
    Only default scanline render, no GI, standart lights, no post processing.
    All comments will be helpfull.
    There was no a lot of time, so the materials are very simple...

    Thats great, shame you havent used better textures.
    Im studying architecture at university and I'm hoping I'll be able to create images like yours. Do you know of any tutorials specifically on creating architecture?

    I agree with und3r about sterility of the image... I think your work will should look much better with some dirt maps and some texture adjustments...

    Glasses are spectacular... Congratulations...

    hello again

    Hello nirvana2 the colours are not my decision , so a can't change them .the building is not mine too. but thank's for the opinion i agree with you.

    To und3r yes i agree with you.the main impression is that the image is too steril.yes it is. Till now i haven't enough time to make more detaled scene, so in the future ill try to do it. whith main accent on texture and materials and more art and modern impression

    Hi!

    I had thought about illumination that you were used ring of light , u just use spot, very good!!! and I see, you had used no much light into your scene.

    very interesting solution for reflection!

    congrats.
    Thanks.

    See ya.

    new shadows

    that a learned from this tutorial

    http://www.geocities.com/pixelmagic2002/Page1.html

    some kind of ambient occlussion pass

    all lights =off
    one mtrl=raytrace
    diffuse=black
    ambient=black
    reflection=white

    raytrace setings
    max depth=0 and colour=white

    This picture in photoshop i put in separate layer over the ambient pass them -/invert/,blur-/guassian blur=1px/ as an example,mode=multiply, opacity 25-45.

    here is the result
