A mighty and strong tree was a sprout once. And this very project is not an exception. It grew out of Redpool, the project of a modern antique pool that I created before. I could not stop. That is why I want to present not only the design of the pool but also a villa, its territory, and a whole climate and mood situation. As usual, everything started with the idea that I put on paper and then transformed the sketch into a 3D model. By the way, I used the 3sMax program. Just in case:) The main request was to display antiquity in modern architecture. At first, this may seem impossible. After all, how can you connect large columns, beams, and cornices with huge glass surfaces, chrome-plated facade elements, which, of course, flicker? But, who would have thought: they get along so well and complement each other. What is interesting, one of the reasons for this great union could be the fact that in antique architecture, there was the main unspoken rule: the wider the windows and the greater the flow of light, the better. Lucky me, ha? Environment As for the color palette in antiquity, there was no excessive brightness, since materials people used were natural: bronze, wood, marble. For example, it was a combination of two contrasting colors: brown and light beige or black and white. In our case, it is black and terracotta. I must say a burning desire hit me to make brick columns in terracotta. I went a bit further, actually, and did the entire project in the same color shades: sand, rocks in the foundation of the project, plants, decorative elements. I think such a decision only emphasizes the calmness of the color scheme. As a basis, I took the image of the Namib Desert, which climate is pretty lifeless. But it gives that feeling of comfort and tranquility in tandem with my project. A specific elevation of the desert and even detachment from the outside world continues in the villa`s placement over a cliff. I am more than sure it is an ideal option to give yourself a break from life and just sunbathe, drink cocktails, swim in the pool, and enjoy the genuinely divine look.
