Moved up the final image for convenience



Hi all! I found out quite late about this marvelous competition, about two weeks ago. The lion's share of time I was going through the options, drawing sketches, collecting references, watched the lessons, etc. And eventually the idea came to me. I drew a sketch and then redrew it several times in the search for the most successful composition.

After all this, began the process of creating a scene. I built the walls, floor and rough ceiling. Then I put the camera, and more its almost not moving. Then I started to study details of the ceiling and walls.

Next, I turned to elaboration of scene. At first I looked for (and found) the finished model on the site 3ddd.ru and among collections of Evermotion. Something I could find and modeled independently, for example I was very focused on creating ceiling space, some mechanisms, some of the decor.

When the scene was almost ready, I began to try lighting options. At first it was a bright Sunny day on the coast of a certain Bay. But with this type of lighting quite readable internal light bulbs. Gradually, during the configuration process, I received a pleasant backdrop, reminiscent of Albion outside and inside get the desired light.


At some point I rendered the picture and right on it drew all my comments:

Then there were long and tedious bug-fixes and improvements. At some point 3ds max has been closed with an error (But the regular AutoSave saved the situation) And finally launched the final render.

Further post-processing and the final image, but before that let me describe the software and some points. In the above picture was used: • 3ds max 2014,

• Marvelous Designer 3,
• Photoshop CS6,
• AfterEffects CS6,
• plug-in Magic Bullet,
• sketchbook and a pencil.
