I just saw this thread today, and i had to take part in it :)
This is my first chalenge btw..
Modeling done in like 30 min or so, and render took about 1.5h(fryrender)
it's the last day :)...the competition ends at 0:00 hour :)
hello evermotion....here is my work...modelling time is 1hr 20 mins. rendering time 10 minutes...hope the rendering time is not counted in this competition.

:) This is my idea, to create lamp from flash lights in that way, so You can manualy set direction of light, and which are turned on :)
modeling time is about 30min. - mostly instances od 2 object as You can see.
here is a last minute entry (it's almost 12:00 in my country :) )
