Fast modeling competition. Edition 9 : Modern lamp

Hi all ... this will be my first speed modelling challenge ever :)

Here's my model :) ... time: about 1 hour

My two cents.
A personal rendition of Kartell's Bourgie lamp.
Done in Blender and rendered in Vray. About 1h30m modeling time.
10,000 polys, 16,000 vertices.
EDIT: added a shaded viewport screen grab.

I like this design is very beautiful (kartell´s bourgie lamp). Can you send me your model on matchmac@centrum.sk , I´am an architekt and will use it on my renderings. Thats would help me. Thanks Bertrandb

Hi all,here is my speed model.i made this in exact 54 minutes.
i m very busy,so i dont have time,but i want take part in this competition.
Since it was written that the model can be regenarated,so i downlaod the PDF representation of Archmodels50,and make my own model....

It took me about 2h to do it.

Nice......i'm wondered... but where is the light source? is those the cat's eyes? Can u give us the procedure so that we can also make such models by 2 hours also..

First you need to model a rabbit. this took me about 1,5 h
Next you must do some peltMapping and unwarp a rabbit about 15 minutes.
At the end you add a displacement mod with some fur texture and.

I wonder of Tolas's and 3dspel's , may be they will fall over ....

Hi, my first post here, i hope you like it.
Took me around 30minutes, i used Vray for shading and render.

Modeling time: about 1h
Style: Poly modeling and spline
Note: If you known what to do it takes less time , I think 35-45min.
Below I present wire and shaded or very simple render which is only approximation of my idea.
